About the artwork
This artwork was inspired by the first time I saw a family of Glossy Black Cockatoos land in the trees outside my kitchen window. That moment sparked my fascination with this threatened species and a passion to help protect their casuarina forests and nesting hollows.
What began as one painting grew into years of habitat work, collaborations, and the creation of Wildlife Preservation Clarence Valley (WPCV). When the original sold, I donated $1200 to WPCV (read the story here) to support the mission. Each print helps continue that story - protecting Glossies and the places they call home.
A portion of every sale is donated to Wildlife Preservation Clarence Valley.
