Art has always been my way of connecting with nature and community.
My practice is rooted in slow travel, conservation and drawing as a way of paying attention. I’m interested in the layered stories within landscapes and communities, and in understanding how people, wildlife and place shape one another over time.
My goal is to spark curiosity and appreciation for the natural world and remind people of the beauty that surrounds us.

The sale of any artwork with threatened species in it, a portion of sales I donate to their protection.

Behind the Brush
Every artwork begins with time spent in the observing, photographing and immersing in the surrounds and culture of a place. I work mostly from my own images or, on rare occasions, use reference material with permission.
This process keeps each piece authentic and rooted in real experiences of being outdoors, watching and learning from the environment and community.
Art that Gives Back
Many of my threatened species pieces help raise awareness and funds for conservation projects that protect them. When some my artworks are sold, I donate a portion of profits to support the landscapes, communities and wildlife that inspire them.
I love to increase this impact by reproducing pieces as prints, cards or posters, or create a custom painting that captures a species, story or place that means something special.
