My background is in wildlife, tourism, conservation, environmental communication and community engagement. I’ve worked across Australia in roles ranging from wildlife keeping and conservation campaigning to building ecotourism ventures, biodiversity projects and landscape-scale conservation.

Art has always run alongside that work, and more recently I’ve been giving it more space within my broader practice.

I work with watercolour, ink, acrylic and printmaking, drawing inspiration from wildlife, landscapes, everyday places and the stories embedded in them. I’m particularly interested in the act of slowing down and observing a place through drawing, and in how art can communicate environmental and social stories without needing to explain everything.

Travel has become an important part of that practice. In 2026 I am travelling and sketching through Indonesia, Mexico and Europe, and have just finished a four-week art residency in Oaxaca, Mexico. During the residency I explored ideas around art, place and cultural exchange, while developing my own work through observational sketching and time spent learning printmaking at Subterráneos in Oaxaca.

I continue to take on conservation and consulting projects that are a good fit, while also developing my art practice through travel, residencies, workshops, painting, sketching and printmaking.
